# WorkSpaces Applications

**WorkSpaces Applications (formerly AppStream 2.0)** provide scalable, on-demand application streaming environments for users, ideal for delivering secure access to individual applications without provisioning full desktops. This feature supports fleet-based streaming for managed apps across multiple users.

**Applications Settings** allows you to configure how applications are managed and delivered within the WorkSpaces environment.

Applications can be made available to users based on **Active Directory group membership** using the **AD Group Applications** setting. The **Application Group Prefix** defines the naming prefix used for AD groups associated with application assignments.

The **Cloudpaging Applications** option enables integration with **Cloudpaging**, allowing applications to be streamed to users. The **Cloudpaging Username** specifies the account used for this integration.

When **Dynamic Apps** are enabled, applications stored in a specified location can be automatically discovered and made available. The **Dynamic Apps File Path** defines where application packages are stored, while the **Dynamic Apps Group** controls access through an Active Directory group.

The **WorkSpace Applications Group Context** defines the Active Directory organisational unit (OU) where application-related groups are created and managed.
